Locally Twisted FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Clear answers by service type, so decor installs, artist services, delivery orders, and corporate events do not get mixed together.

Start with the service you need. Face painting and balloon twisting are hourly artist services; event balloon decor is custom installation work; ready-to-order pieces follow pickup and delivery rules.

Face painting and balloon twisting

How are face painting and balloon twisting priced?

Each artist is priced independently: $130 for the first hour and $115 for each additional hour. One twister and one painter for two hours is two separate artist totals, not one bundled service.

Why isn’t there a discount for booking more than one artist?

Each artist is creating custom work for your guests. Two artists means twice the creative time, so Locally Twisted prices each artist separately to protect the quality of the experience.

What deposit do artist services require?

Personal face painting and balloon twisting events require a $50 deposit per artist when you book. The remaining balance is due 72 hours before your event.

Can the artists do a specific character or theme?

Yes. Share the character, theme, colors, or party idea when you inquire. The team does not use a tiny preset menu; they want to know what your guests are excited about.

Event balloon decor and installations

How is event balloon decor priced?

Event decor is quoted from the actual scope: piece type, size, colors, venue, access, setup window, delivery, installation needs, and takedown or return details when they apply. It is not priced from the face painting and twisting hourly artist formula.

What counts as event balloon decor?

Arches, columns, garlands, backdrops, drops, centerpieces, stage pieces, corporate entrances, school displays, civic installs, and other larger custom pieces belong in the event decor lane.

What payment is required for personal balloon decor?

Personal balloon decor such as arches, columns, and larger installs is typically paid in full before prep starts. Your quote should show the scope, timing, payment terms, and any event-specific fees before you approve it.

What should I include in a decor inquiry?

Send the event date, venue or city, setup time, event start time, inspiration photos if you have them, colors, approximate size, and whether the piece needs delivery, setup, installation, or special venue access.

Ready-to-order balloons, pickup, and delivery

Can I check out online right now?

Online checkout is paused while the shop experience is being polished. For now, use the quote/contact path for pickup pieces, delivery questions, and event work so the team can confirm details before payment.

How do pickup and delivery usually work for ready-to-order items?

Pickup is free when confirmed by Locally Twisted. Standard local delivery is $15 for Davis, Weber, Salt Lake, and Utah counties. Park City delivery is $50 for ZIP codes 84060, 84068, and 84098. Out-of-area delivery is quoted before payment.

Are small balloon deliveries refundable?

Ready-to-order balloon products are paid in full when ordered and are not returnable once prepared, delivered, or picked up. If something arrives damaged, contact Locally Twisted the same day so the team can review it.

Corporate, school, civic, and venue events

Do corporate clients pay deposits?

Corporate clients usually do not pay a deposit. Locally Twisted invoices corporate work on Net 30 after the event unless a quote or written agreement says otherwise.

What happens if a corporate invoice is late?

If a corporate invoice goes unpaid past Net 30, Locally Twisted may add a 10% simple late fee on the original balance. For invoice or accounts-payable questions, email billing@locallytwisted.com.

Can you support schools, campuses, city events, and venues?

Yes. Those events usually need the quote path because timing, access, parking, loading, setup windows, and approval details matter. Share what you know, and the team will help shape the plan.

Cancellations, weather, and rescheduling

Where is the full cancellation policy?

See the refund and cancellation policy for the full service-by-service version. The rules are different for artist services, decor installs, ready-to-order products, and corporate invoicing.

Can I reschedule?

When funds transfer to a new event date or product, you have 6 months from the original event date to use them.

What if weather affects an outdoor event?

You decide whether to cancel for weather. If weather affects the event once Locally Twisted is already setting up or running, there is no partial refund obligation, but the team will work with you on the safest practical plan.
